Unsurprisingly, I'm a nerd of multiple "micro-universes." One of those is competitive robotics, and over the years, I've gathered many interesting stories to tell. You may think it’s nerdy stuff like “...and that’s how I made a robot that uses machine learning to detect puppies and dispense food for free”. The story I’ll tell in the following pages is one of enemies, betrayal, deception, foes becoming friends, and friends becoming foes. It is so insane, that I often wonder if I could turn it into a book or a film, much like Tetris (2023).
While I don’t have the funds to make a film, I guess this will suffice. If I want a place to trauma-dump with my usual flourishes, that’s not here (my games maybe? That’s another topic). I just want somewhere to share this story. Maybe you’ll learn something from this, or maybe it’s just for your entertainment.
I have to be clear on something. No, I MUST be clear on something. I’m writing about real events that involve real people. While I’ll make up fake names for people (for the safety of everyone, including myself), some stuff may be found by some with an excess of too much free time. If you do find something, please keep it to yourself and don’t harass anyone involved.
